Obremo renews its commitment to the ten universal principles of the United Nations Global Compact

One more year, Obremo It renews its commitment to being an integral part of the UN initiative, supporting its ten universal principles on human rights, labor rights, environmental conservation and the fight against corruption.

With this renewal, the company continues to make the Global Compact and its principles part of its strategy, culture and daily actions, and launches new cooperative projects that contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals set by the 2030 Agenda.

Following the company's full integration into Grupo Gimeno in September 2021, Grupo Obremo has increased its commitment to the UN Global Compact through new projects initiated in 2021, which will be developed and consolidated throughout 2022. Thus, its commitment is to be an active part of the just and sustainable energy transition, support urban transformation, and promote connectivity by reducing the digital divide.

In this regard, it is worth noting that Obremo, in the development of infrastructure and services that promote the development of more sustainable and intelligent cities and societies, always acts following the following cross-cutting principles of legality; respect and protection of Human Rights; exemplary management; transparency and credibility; environmental respect; social impact; customer and user satisfaction; and dialogue with stakeholders.

Furthermore, the company supports and implements initiatives to minimize inequalities in its immediate environment, as well as ethical actions to raise awareness of the importance of good practices in the business world. Evidence of this is that the company's strategic personnel management is based on the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination.

Furthermore, measures aimed at reducing the gender pay gap and improving and promoting work-life balance are improved and updated each year.
