The AVE Board of Directors will meet for the first time in 2026 in Nealis, at Facsa's new headquarters.

Oropesa del Mar gives, hand in hand with FOBESA, a new step towards sustainability with the recent expansion of services related to environmental management, for which the budget allocated to street cleaning and waste collection and management has been increased by 354.000 euros annually, which represents an increase of 19%.
On the one hand, the organic waste fraction has been incorporated into the service—provided by FOBESA since 2009—through the installation of 120 new 1.000-liter rear-loading containers. This service, which includes collection from large producers, has also seen the company add a new collection truck to its fleet.
Similarly, the renovation and transformation of the underground waste collection system and the proposed expansion will provide a total of 148 containers for packaging, 140 for paper and cardboard, and 126 for general waste, which will be grouped into 120 collection points to facilitate recycling for local residents. At the same time, collection frequency has been increased during peak season to meet holiday demand.
Regarding street cleaning, FOBESA The municipality has implemented a general reinforcement of its services based on the current needs of the area. Thus, during peak season, especially on Sundays and holidays, it has expanded the manual sweeping team and doubled the number of days the street washing service is carried out using tanker trucks.
With all this, the Oropesa del Mar City Council and FOBESA reaffirm their joint commitment to the constant search for a more efficient, sustainable and quality service in the municipality.
