FOVASA launches a special cleaning and waste collection operation during the Fallas festival in Alzira

The Fallas festival returned to Alzira in October, and to ensure that the festivities could take place as normally as possible, FOVASA It implemented a special street cleaning and waste collection operation that involved an increase in technological and human resources.

The company delivered special containers to each falla and established daily collection routes for these containers. In addition, street cleaning was increased, and cleaning routes were established in the vicinity of the fallas venues.

Notably FOVASA It also reinforced its service with technical and human resources to ensure the cleanliness of events such as the macrodespertà, the mascletás, the Nit del Foc or the final firework display.

For the removal of ash and cleaning of fallas on Tuesday the 12th and Wednesday the 13th, two special teams were hired, a sweeper and a blower for cleaning squares, avenues and curbs; a water tank for the larger fallas and a pressure washer for the smaller ones; two articulated bathtubs and two backhoes.

The special street cleaning and waste collection operation carried out ensured a return to normality after the celebration.
