Myriam Gimeno shares Nealis's vision on equality at the 10th Colloquium on Women, Science and Business

The commitment of the La Nucía City Council and Fobesa With continuous improvement focused on quality, efficiency and sustainability, this has been demonstrated once again with the presentation of five new vehicles that are much more efficient and environmentally friendly, joining the 14 vehicles that were added in March.
The presentation of these new vehicles was attended by Bernabé Cano, Mayor of La Nucía, Manuel Alcalá, Councillor for Street Cleaning, and Miguel Ángel Sola, Director of Fobesa in Alicante and Agustín Expósito, Head of Service in La Nucía.
During the event, Cano emphasized that with these five new trucks, "we are completing the renewal of all the service's vehicles, with the aim of improving the quality of both waste collection and street cleaning." He also indicated that the services that will be reinforced are those related to the collection of industrial waste and pruning debris, as well as the collection of new organic waste and recyclables.
Specifically, a tanker truck, a container washer, a multipurpose truck, and two refuse collection vehicles—one side-loading and one hybrid—are being added to the service. This represents a total investment of over one million euros, in addition to the 1,8 million euros invested in machinery earlier this year. It's worth noting that the total planned investment will exceed 3,7 million euros.
These new vehicles incorporate the latest technology on the market, reducing both CO emissions2 to the atmosphere such as noise pollution, always seeking a more responsible service with the environment, but also with the surroundings and with the residents of La Nucía.
Furthermore, sustainability and digitalization play a vital role in this new fleet, as the service is equipped with a management platform for monitoring and control through the Environdata tool developed by Fobesa.
