FOVASA expands its presence in Valencia with the award of the street cleaning and waste collection service in Alzira

FOVASA reinforces its position as one of the leading companies in the environmental sector of the province of Valencia with the recent award of the street cleaning and Urban Solid Waste (USW) collection service of Alzira, capital of the Ribera Alta with 45.000 inhabitants.

The contract will begin on October 1, 2021, and for its provision, entirely new and more sustainable machinery will be acquired, as it consists of hybrid, electric, and LPG vehicles.

Similarly, all the town's containers, both side-loading and rear-loading, will be replaced. This new service will provide the municipality with 449 containers for general waste, 131 for paper and cardboard, 131 for light packaging, and 70 for organic waste.

In addition, a door-to-door collection service will be implemented for waste generated by companies located in the industrial parks of the municipality.
