Fobesa renews the collection and cleaning contract in Oropesa with new vehicles and an increased number of containers

Oropesa City Council has renewed Fobesa The waste collection and street cleaning service contract has been extended for next year. This extension confirms the excellent work of the company, which has been providing the service for 15 years. The Oropesa Town Council has given a very positive assessment of the series of improvements proposed by the company for the coming year.   

Among the most significant improvements is the renewal of the street and beach cleaning vehicles, specifically three sweepers, a tractor, and three trucks, including a refuse truck. Another key aspect is the increase in the number of containers for packaging, paper and cardboard, and organic waste, with the aim of increasing recycling rates at the source. This improvement also entails expanding the human and technological resources for waste collection in the municipality of Castellón.   

In addition, the underground container islands will be progressively closed and replaced with new containers without losing collection capacity. 

With all these improvements, the council and the company Grupo Gimeno reaffirms its commitment to optimizing resources and processes with the aim of continuous improvement, focusing on quality, efficiency and sustainability.
