Fobesa launches a comprehensive street cleaning plan for each neighborhood in Burriana

The Burriana City Council and Fobesa They have launched the comprehensive cleaning plan for the municipality, through which new, more effective sanitation techniques will be implemented, using sweepers, washing and pressure hoses with detergent for deep cleaning.

Furthermore, this plan divides the municipality into 13 sectors with an estimated date and duration, depending on the size of each neighborhood, to keep the residents of Burriana informed about the removal of vehicles in each area.

The work will begin in the city center, specifically in the historic district, and proceed outwards, leaving the cleaning of the seaside village until after the Arenal Sound 2023 festival. Thus, the work will begin on July 17th throughout the Plà and pedestrian areas, including those behind the City Hall. On July 18th, C/ Mayor, Raval, Plaza Forn de la Vila and Ronda Poeta Calzada will be cleaned, and on Wednesday, July 19th, work will continue on C/ Buen Suceso up to Juan Bosco and from the Jardín del Beso to Ronda Músico Ibañez.

Some of the actions to be undertaken include: intensive exterior washing of the containers and surrounding areas, installation of new reflective and informative signage regarding usage, regulations, and public service phone numbers, activation of a new selective waste collection route to avoid any potential inconvenience, and replacement of underground containers and litter bins. Furthermore, routine cleaning services will continue as normal to maintain every street in the town in optimal condition.
