The Elda City Council and Fobesa They are starting the year with a new campaign that will bring information to the homes of their neighbors to help them properly separate waste in their private homes.
To this end, starting today, a door-to-door campaign begins to answer questions about the use of the brown container for organic waste, as well as the other containers found on public roads, so that citizens have sufficient tools to dispose of each type of waste in its corresponding container and that it receives the necessary treatment at the plant.
This campaign will take place from Monday to Thursday in the morning, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and will begin in the area of Camilo José Cela Avenue, Ronda Avenue, the San Francisco de Sales neighborhood and the Las 300 neighborhood, in a first round of information visits to homes in the city.
Environmental educators will wear their corresponding identification and work clothes screen-printed with the logos of the Elda City Council. Fobesa, and the slogan 'Elda Bonica'.
It's worth remembering that last December, information points were set up at various locations throughout the city to answer questions about waste management. At the same time, residents were given compostable bags for organic waste, as well as leaflets detailing the main types of household waste and their corresponding containers.
This campaign was very well received by the public, serving nearly a thousand people at the different points set up in the San Francisco de Sales Market, Reina Victoria Avenue, the Central Market and the Las 300 Multipurpose Center.
