Myriam Gimeno shares Nealis's vision on equality at the 10th Colloquium on Women, Science and Business

The Alzira City Council and Fovasa Environment They have just launched the educational project in the local schools. The Life of Things with the aim of raising awareness among young children about issues such as waste generation and the importance of recycling in a fun and engaging way.
During the presentation of the project, the Councillor for Agriculture and City Services, Enrique Montalvá, highlighted "the usefulness and opportunity of this educational initiative that will allow children from a young age to learn about the life cycle of different materials, how to recycle them and thus avoid pollution."
"Approximately 1.000 boys and girls from the first cycle of Primary Education in 15 schools in Alzira will be able to enjoy this initiative, which has already been inaugurated and will continue until March 8," Montalvá emphasized.
Fovasa Medioambiente explained how, through six animated characters and state-of-the-art educational materials, such as augmented reality and an app, children are taught to love and care for the environment through simple practices they can apply in their daily lives.
They also indicated that the content has been divided into five learning units dedicated to the product life cycle, climate change, waste and its management, responsible consumption, and good environmental practices, featuring fun 3D characters. These sessions will be conducted using tablets, videos, and an interactive question-and-answer system that will make the sessions both fun and educational.
It is important to highlight that all the material seen in class will be made available to the teachers so that they can delve deeper into this knowledge, and that they will also have access to the project's APP and website, where it is possible to watch the videos of the sessions, take photos with the comic book characters, or even use augmented reality.
