The DECOB project validates a predictive methodology to anticipate possible incidents in submersible pumping systems

Once again, work teams from Gimeno Group y Obremo -a Valencian company that leads the energy and telecommunications area of the business group- collaborate with startups participating in the Clean Connect VLC program, which is organized by the City Council of Valencia through València Activa and AVAESEN.
The main objective of the initiative is to promote open innovation and collaboration between newly created companies, both national and international, with Valencian corporations seeking to find cleantech solutions in the development of their activity.
In this second editionThe Valencian group has collaborated closely with the startups Impacte and Vianova IO.
The first of these involves exploring collaboration in the implementation of renewable energy in municipalities. The solution of Impact It focuses on the calculation of photovoltaic solar energy installations that can be carried out on roofs and rooftops of municipalities and industrial parks, both in urban and industrial areas, in such a way that, from this calculation, data on economic savings and environmental impact of the installations themselves are obtained.
Public and private institutions, neighborhood associations and individuals have already shown interest in having this tool.
Meanwhile, with the French Vianova We are currently collaborating to improve the efficiency and sustainability of Obremo's large fleet of vehicles, which numbers more than 1.200 throughout the country.
In this phase, data is being monitored and collected via the Fleet Simulator application, which operates via GPS, on the daily use of the vehicles. This follows the work teams from both companies verifying how to upload the data to Vianova's tool. Once the necessary volume of data is obtained, an analysis will be performed using this application to allow Obremo to improve its route planning, thereby reducing travel costs and, consequently, its environmental impact.
Grupo Gimeno has already confirmed its interest in continuing to be part of Clean Connect VLC in its third edition, in order to promote this initiative that is committed to open innovation in the Cleantech field.
