Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

Gimeno Group has participated in the event at the technology center ITI, in collaboration with the Ministry of Innovation, has organized to present the results obtained within the framework of the INDDIS project, whose objective is to enable the exploitation of data in the industrial fabric of the Valencian Community.
With that same objective, the challenges in the exploitation and sharing of data were presented during the day, and WISEPHERE was launched, a space that responds to the needs that both ICT and industrial companies have been conveying along the way.
After delving into the technological framework on which WISEPHERE is based, and which allows ICT companies to test their data analysis applications prior to their launch, the presentation of Grupo Gimeno's experience was given.
Federico Piñuela, Head of AI and Data Science at Grupo Gimeno, explained that the company has incorporated various datasets into WISEPHERE, including network pressures, well levels, pumping consumption data, meteorological data, water quality data, fleet circulation data, positions, and downtime. Their objective is to enhance knowledge and, through this knowledge, explore diverse applications ranging from predictive maintenance and infrastructure optimization (generating cost savings and strategic advantages) to analyzing customer behavior to align supply with demand, thereby increasing the value of the goods and services offered.
These advances will demonstrate the benefits of services made possible by controlled data management. This will significantly contribute to the evolution of digitalization and, consequently, to the optimization of business operations, the improvement of commercial opportunities, and the transition to a circular economy model in our community.
