Gimeno Group has participated in the ICEX 2025 Forum, a space A key event for promoting internationalization and business innovation, the conference brought together leading companies and experts from the global economic ecosystem in Madrid. Specifically, José Guillermo Berlanga, Innovation Director of Grupo Gimeno, participated in the panel “The Right Spark: Open Innovation and International Business,” sharing the company's experience in developing collaborative projects with universities, research centers, startups, and technology SMEs.

During his speech, Berlanga emphasized the strategic value of open innovation for Grupo Gimeno as a driver of transformation, growth, and competitiveness in international markets. “When talent, vision, and agility converge, synergies are generated that allow us to explore new business opportunities, adapt quickly, and develop solutions that would be much more difficult to achieve individually,” he explained.

The panel, moderated by Ignacio Mezquita, Spain's economic and commercial advisor in Ottawa, addressed key topics such as emerging trends in corporate innovation, the challenges large companies face in integrating disruptive solutions into their processes, and the role of startups as catalysts for change. Alongside Berlanga, representatives from companies such as Naturgy, Teknia, Moeve, Imotion Analytics, CAPTOPLASTIC, Área 101, and Letsinnovate participated.
