The conference "Valencian Community: Engine of the Spain Brand Economy," organized by the Association of Communication Directors (Dircom), brought together more than one hundred business leaders and opinion leaders at an event that sought to highlight the region's key role in national economic development. The meeting was closed by Carlos Mazón, President of the Valencian Government, who emphasized the importance of the Valencian Community as an engine of the Spain Brand and advocated for a level playing field in the business sector.
During the event, Myriam Gimeno, CEO of Gimeno GroupGimeno participated in the round table discussion entitled “Valencian Companies Driving the Spain Brand,” alongside prominent leaders such as Raúl Martín, Corporate General Manager of Familia Martínez, Dolores Font, founder of Dolores Cortés, and Jesús Navarro, CEO of Carmencita. In his remarks, Gimeno highlighted the challenges facing businesses and pointed out the difficulties posed by legislative pressure and market fragmentation in Spain. “If we want to make the Valencian Community a hub for larger companies, we must demand market unity,” he added.
The event, opened by Miguel López-Quesada, president of Dircom, and Esther Castellano, president of the territorial delegation of Dircom in the Valencian Community and Region of Murcia, featured several presentations that addressed topics of innovation, technological development and strategic communication.
