Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

Grupo Gimeno participated in the latest Levante-EMV breakfast meeting focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The meeting centered on SDG 8, which addresses decent work and economic growth, aiming to stimulate growth in a way that is environmentally friendly by increasing productivity levels and technological innovation.
In this way, in order to generate a meeting point and debate around this issue, the media outlet has brought together Valencian representatives linked to the world of work and business in a round table, including Pedro Sánchez, a member of the Department of Human Resources from the Services area Gimeno Group.
In this context, Sánchez pointed to a shift in employee expectations stemming from the current health crisis, stating that “candidates are no longer just looking at salary but also at the company's values and its medium- and long-term objectives.” This is something, she continued, “we work on every day at Grupo Gimeno, where the business strategy is fully aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.”
Similarly, Sánchez took the opportunity to highlight the commitment with the education and training of companies of Grupo Gimeno such as FACSA o FOBESA-FOVASAwhich has made it possible to create professorships with universities or to promote vocational training courses to enhance technical qualifications in the sector.
This Levante-EMV breakfast – sponsored by FACSA along with the Port Authority of Valencia and Caixa Popular – was moderated by Julio Monreal, the newspaper's and Prensa Valenciana's general manager of institutional relations, and featured the participation of Mari Carmen Soler, financial director of CaixaPopular; Pedro Coca, president of the Propeller logistics management and business association of Valencia; Miguel Javaloyes, general secretary of the Valencian Community Business Confederation (CEV); Ismael Sáez, general secretary of UGT-PV; Ana García, head of training and employment at CCOO-PV; and Marta Rodríguez, head of projects at the Etnor Foundation.
