Myriam Gimeno shares Nealis's vision on equality at the 10th Colloquium on Women, Science and Business

Improving energy efficiency across different sectors, seeking a comprehensive module that transforms energy savings into direct economic impact and a reduced carbon footprint. This was the challenge that Grupo Gimeno, through IoTsens y Giditek, launched in the third edition of the Clean Connect VLC entrepreneurship promotion program.
The challenge has not only received a solution tailored to the company's needs, but the planned solution has also been recognized with the second prize in this edition of the program. The proposal put forward by the startup Eficae adapts existing developments related to energy efficiency and tariff management to allow for full integration with the Grupo Gimeno platform, thus guaranteeing real-time monitoring and the possibility of offering a unique, integrated product to clients.
Eficae has received a prize of 2.000 euros which will be invested in the implementation of the pilot of the tool in the real environment of Grupo Gimeno.
Marcos Rozas, Director of Digital Transformation and Organization at Grupo Gimeno, was present at the awards ceremony. During the event, the four "matches"—corporation-startup pairings—participated in various roundtable discussions about their experiences and the exchange of ideas within the open innovation program.
Clean Connect VLC is organized by the City Council of Valencia through València Activa and the association of companies of renewable energies and other clean technologies (Avaesen).
