A pioneering chair is created at the University of Valencia that connects water and bioenergy to address environmental challenges.

The Argamasilla de Alba Town Council has awarded the contract for the rehabilitation of the area surrounding Peñarroya Castle to Genera Facility.
The project, with a budget of 891.382 euros and a planned execution of nine months, includes the restoration of part of the existing buildings, converting them into a hostel and a restaurant, as well as a reception and warehouses.
The spaces to be rehabilitated by the La Mancha delegation of Genera Facility They are situated on a total area of more than 23.500 m2, divided into two parts by the CM3115 road, which are located next to the Castle of Peñarroya, declared a Cultural Heritage Site on December 28, 1990. Also, this area is the main entrance to the Lagunas de Ruidera Natural Park.
The project is part of the Argamasilla de Alba Tourism Development Plan 2016-2023, which includes the restoration of these buildings as part of the socio-economic development engine of the town, to be used for tourist accommodation and services.
