Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

At a crucial moment for the energy transition, such as the present, Obremo It is carrying out different projects that promote the creation of local energy communities (CELs), with the aim of encouraging the use of clean energy for self-consumption by homes and businesses.
Thanks to its established presence in the Mediterranean corridor, Obremo has collaborated directly with a large number of CELs that can be located in the interactive online map Developed by Plaza Energía, part of AVAESEN, and the Valencian Regional Government. A few weeks ago, the presentation of this digital tool took place, during which company representatives shared success stories from local energy communities.
Obremo's Renewables division manages the entire process, from personalized studies and consulting to grant management, planning, design, and project execution, culminating in commissioning for municipalities, residential buildings, or industrial parks. Among the main groups interested in creating a community to produce, consume, store, and even sell clean energy from photovoltaic solar energy systems are municipalities, educational institutions, and residential buildings.
Obremo plans to continue its expansion as a facilitator of local self-consumption energy communities, in a context where progress is being made in regulating Clean Energy Sources (CELs) – as announced by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) – and where these types of installations are experiencing continuous growth. In fact, during the first quarter, more than 50.000 self-consumption installations were completed, representing a 269,09% increase compared to the previous year, according to data from the General Directorate of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Catalan Government.
