Myriam Gimeno, CEO of Nealis, has been awarded the CaixaBank Businesswoman of the Valencian Community Prize, a recognition that highlights the talent, professional excellence and leadership of businesswomen who stand out for their business career, capacity for transformation, strategic vision and commitment to economic and social development.
The jury, made up of CaixaBank executives, has selected Myriam Gimeno from among the candidates presented in the Valencian Community for her contribution to the growth and transformation of the business group, driving the evolution of Grupo Gimeno towards Nealis and leading a new stage of corporate development.
Myriam Gimeno belongs to the third generation of the business family at the head of Nealis, a holding company with more than 150 years of history that develops essential solutions and services to support the transformation of cities and territories.
The group integrates an ecosystem of companies specializing in strategic sectors such as water and the environment, facilities and services, infrastructure and hospitality, incorporating technology and innovation as cross-cutting axes to drive sustainable growth.
During the last decade, the company has experienced a period of strong expansion, tripling its size to over 7.000 professionals and achieving a turnover of close to 700 million euros, consolidating its position as one of the leading business groups in its field of activity.
Throughout her career, Myriam Gimeno has played a decisive role in the professionalization and transformation of the group, leading the creation of the new corporate holding company, the reorganization of business areas and the development of the 2030 Strategic Plan.
