Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

Work to prepare the new senior citizens' residence in Vinaròs is progressing well. This work is being carried out by Gimecons Construction and Contracting These improvements will allow for the construction of a two-story building with 5.400 square meters of space, accommodating 145 public beds, distributed among 54 double rooms and 37 single rooms. The facility will also include shared amenities and areas such as two terraces and a gym.
The mayor of Vinaròs, Guillem Alsina, accompanied by the councilor for Social Policy, Berta Domènech; the councilor for Urban Planning, José Chaler; and the municipal coordinator of Social Services, Antonio Valanzuela, visited the construction site along with representatives from Gimecons. According to the company, part of the Gimeno Group, the work is progressing well and is expected to be completed within the established timeframe. The second phase of the project, which will include the installation of basic equipment and services, will then begin.
Alsina highlighted that "the residence will not only be an important step forward in the quality of care in the municipality, but the entire region will also benefit, with the 145 public places that will be offered and the creation of the 75 jobs planned to be able to attend to future users."
For her part, Councillor Domènech commented that "the residence will represent a very important step forward in the quality of care for the elderly in Vinaròs and the surrounding area, as they will be able to receive care 24 hours a day, while also helping to improve the quality of life of their families."
