Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

The San Pablo CEU University Foundation has once again entrusted Gimecons with the execution of an important renovation project at its facilities, as the institution has commissioned the company to renovate the Higher School of Technical Education (ESET) of the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, located on the Alfara del Patriarca Campus (Valencia).
A project that includes the adaptation of the building's longitudinal nave - which has more than 100 years of history - for a multi-space hall, as well as the opening of an interior courtyard in the area immediately adjacent to the nave, which will be connected to the current School building through a newly constructed rectangular prismatic body.
The aim is to create an open-plan space for various uses, housing a recreation area (dining, games, vending) and exhibition space, as well as a newspaper archive, a studio, and a screening room. This space will connect to the new facilities room located on the existing mezzanine and will have access to the building's first floor, as well as to the interior courtyard, which will improve natural light and ventilation in the new rooms.
Similarly, the project includes replacing the existing pyramidal skylights with materials more appropriate for the school, improving overall insulation and the quality of the materials themselves. Furthermore, the interior layout of the first floor will be modified to better suit the school's evolving needs.
The works, which began on June 1, have a five-month execution period and are in addition to those already carried out by Gimecons in 2018, when the company carried out the work of improving the exterior environment of the ESET research laboratory, as well as the renovation of the ground floor floor and the conditioning of the bathrooms on the first floor of the building.
