Myriam Gimeno receives the "CaixaBank Businesswoman Award" of the Valencian Community

Gimecons It has taken another step in its commitment to the environment by obtaining certification under the UNE-EN-ISO14064-1 standard, which quantifies the greenhouse gas emissions of all its workplaces, offices and construction facilities, that is, its carbon footprint.
This quantification, carried out using mathematical formulas, reveals the amount of greenhouse gases generated by the company and its main objective is to determine its carbon footprint as a preliminary step to reducing it. This is a very important aspect considering that the carbon footprint remains the most widely used environmental indicator related to climate change.
Thus, Gimecons It has voluntarily registered in the Carbon Footprint Registry of the Ministry for Ecological Transition, which collects the efforts of Spanish companies, administrations and other organizations in calculating, reducing and compensating for the greenhouse gas emissions generated by their activity.
With all this, the Grupo Gimeno company reinforces its environmental commitment, taking another step in its policies to reduce the impact of its activity on the planet.
