A pioneering chair is created at the University of Valencia that connects water and bioenergy to address environmental challenges.

The mayor of Castellón, Begoña Carrasco, visited the comprehensive renovation works of the CEIP Mestre Canós school this Wednesday, a project that Gimecons The project is currently more than 80% complete. It will be finished in March 2025, allowing the center to be equipped and operational for the 2025-2026 academic year.
During the visit, Carrasco was accompanied by representatives from Gimecons, the Director General of Educational Infrastructure, José María Larena; the Regional Director, María Esteve; the Councilor for Education, María España; the Councilor for Urban Planning, Sergio Toledo; as well as the school's administration and municipal technicians. The mayor emphasized the importance of this project, which will allow 200 students to enjoy new facilities in a modern, sustainable, and energy-efficient school.
Gimecons is carrying out a comprehensive renovation that will equip the center with multipurpose classrooms and the installation of solar panels, thus addressing the needs of the educational community. Furthermore, the design of the new building incorporates ceramics from Castellón in its façade and interior finishes, in line with the commitment to local industry.
With an investment of 4,5 million euros, financed by the Valencian Government through the Edificant Plan, the renovation of the CEIP Mestre Canós is one of the key actions in educational matters within the municipality.
