Nomadom Cospaces Paseo Ruzafa It was one of the featured venues at the Open House Valencia architecture festival that took place this past weekend. This international architecture and urban planning event is held in more than 50 cities worldwide. During the festival, various activities are organized to give participants a hands-on architectural experience. One of these activities was a visit to the space of Nomadom and it details the architectural peculiarities of this space.
The architecture and interior design studio MOIZThe architect in charge of creating this space explained that it is a flexible office building with a distinctive, rhythmic composition that serves as a reference point for the interior design. “The project was designed with the user experience in mind, offering a series of flexible spaces where the boundaries between work and leisure are blurred, encouraging socialization and collaboration.”
They also highlighted that the enclosed auxiliary spaces, such as meeting rooms and restrooms, are located adjacent to the vertical circulation cores at either end to free up the central space and create a fluid environment. The large workrooms are positioned along both facades to maximize natural light, creating two distinct bands.
On the other hand, they indicated that the materials and tones differentiate the various zones to symbolize the privacy and intimacy of the spaces. The service areas, with their more relaxed activities, are rendered in dark colors, contrasting with the brighter, white workspaces. The use of absorbent materials and wood has been integrated into the walls and furniture to bring warmth to the space.
It is worth noting that during the Open House Valencia festival, not only were guided tours of the best buildings in the city carried out, but also themed urban routes, talks, competitions and other activities.
