The Torreblanca Town Council and Facsa renew the roof of the town's drinking water reservoir

Representatives from the Torreblanca City Council and from Facsa, The company that holds the concession for the municipal drinking water and sewage service in the town has visited the facilities of the drinking water reservoir in Torreblanca after the completion of the improvement and repair works on the roof that have been carried out.

On one hand, the work has involved demolishing and removing the old roof and replacing it with a new one with the necessary structural capacity to perform its function correctly. On the other hand, access to the reservoir basin has been improved, including new access points for maintaining buoys and level sensors.

Taking advantage of the works, the entire interior of the reservoir has also been waterproofed, and a new filter has been installed at the reservoir's outlet. It is worth noting that all these actions have included the necessary safety and health signage and installations, demonstrating the commitment of both the city council and the company. company, with the safety of the workers who perform this public service.

The town's mayor, Josefa Tena, and councilor Rosana Villanueva, highlighted during the visit that these actions, which have involved an investment of more than 88.000 euros, demonstrate the importance of maintaining and adapting municipal infrastructure to current needs, "so that the entire population of Torreblanca can enjoy a better municipal service every day."
