Nealis Infraestructuras boosts its construction and real estate activity with more than 80 active projects

As part of its commitment to promoting the energy transition, the circular economy and decarbonization, Sitra has participated in a round table discussion under the name Biogas development initiatives in Spain, organized by Activos magazine in collaboration with Redexis.
At the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of Prensa Ibérica in Madrid, a group of professionals in the field discussed biomethane and the challenges it presents for Spain, which currently has a level of development in the production of this type of energy far behind that of other European countries.
In this regard, Javier Donato, director of SitraHe emphasized the importance of discussing biogas and biomethane at this time, noting that "we must realize that it is a very mature technology and that neighboring countries have developed it much further than we have." He added that "we cannot afford to lag behind in a sector that will be cross-cutting and will involve all economic sectors."
With the arrival of European funding, the definitive deployment of this energy sector is expected, which can act as an engine of economic growth, due to its capacity to generate a significant volume of business and to promote job creation in the coming years, and at SITRA we are determined to play a leading role in the market.
