As part of this initiative, reusable jugs bearing the slogan 'Better from the tap' have been distributed to promote the consumption of tap water in bars, restaurants, and cafes, thereby reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles. In this way, the city council seeks to encourage this option as a safe and healthy alternative, as well as raise awareness among the public and the hospitality sector about the importance of adopting environmentally sustainable practices in their daily operations.

Support for the hotel sector

As the Nules City Council points out, the hospitality sector is one of the town's main economic drivers, and this campaign, in addition to promoting environmentally friendly practices, is presented as a new support measure for the sector to facilitate compliance with regulations on access to drinking water. Thus, hotels in Nules will be able to offer their clientele a convenient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly alternative.
