Nealis Infraestructuras boosts its construction and real estate activity with more than 80 active projects

Facsa It maintains a firm commitment to open innovation and training; in fact, it has been collaborating for many years with different universities, promoting a large number of research and training initiatives with the aim of promoting the involvement of the business and institutional fabric, as well as encouraging socio-economic development.
It is for this reason that the jury of the Valencian Science Parks Network (rePCV) awards, made up of the directors of the science parks of the Valencian public universities, after evaluating a total of 25 applications, has decided that Facsa It is deserving of the “Business-University Collaboration Award”.
The awards ceremony took place in the Marie Curie Auditorium at the University of Valencia Science Park. The winners in the other two categories, Spin-Off and Start-Up, were Medalchemy and Oscillum Biotechnology, respectively. The event was opened by Tonia Salinas, president of rePCV; Pedro Carrasco, director of the PCUV (the organization behind the awards); and Rosa Donat, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer at the University of Valencia.
Representing Facsa, the innovation team, led by Guillermo Berlanga, Facsa's Innovation Director, accepted the award. Mr. Berlanga expressed his gratitude to both the company's research team and the universities for "the outstanding work carried out over all these years of collaboration." He also emphasized "the importance of fostering university-business partnerships to continue addressing the significant challenges facing institutions, companies, and society in general in order to guarantee the future of water."
It is worth noting that Facsa currently holds two university chairs, one at the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) and the other at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), in collaboration with the company Fovasa. Through these partnerships, Facsa strengthens and establishes new collaborative ties to achieve important objectives such as knowledge transfer, bringing university talent closer to activities and projects that enhance the study of the complete water cycle, and creating a forum for professionals to exchange ideas and network.
During the awards ceremony, innovation was discussed as an ally in addressing the challenges of the Valencian Community's production model in a dialogue centered around the book 'What to do with the production model: A basic guide for bold leaders', between Andrés García Reche, the book's author, and Rafa Navarro, founding partner of Innsomnia and the innovation portal D+I, Disruptors and Innovators.
With these awards, which are celebrating their fifth edition this year, the entity that encompasses the science parks of the Valencian Community seeks to promote and enhance the entrepreneurial spirit in knowledge environments and to promote and strengthen University-Business relations.
