Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

The renovation work on the distribution, sanitation and stormwater networks, together with other improvements already implemented in La Vilavella, has the direct consequence of reducing breakdowns and other problems related to these infrastructures, which means a reduction in water losses and an improvement in quality.
In this context, it is worth noting that the renewal of a significant section of the distribution network currently being carried out by the La Vilavella City Council and Facsa It will improve the quality of the drinking water that will be distributed to users in the area.
Specifically, the work being carried out consists of replacing the old distribution network with 55 meters of new 75 mm diameter high-density polyethylene pipes, installing seven residential connections—increasing their cross-section from 25 to 32 mm—and two new network isolation valves. Furthermore, with these improvements, service users will no longer experience disruptive service interruptions due to pipe breaks.
Finally, it is worth remembering that Facsa, as a water operator and through its brand Waternology by FacsaIt has also added improvements to the telematic management of the service in La Vilavella, adapting the management at all times to the demands required in the technological field.
