A pioneering chair is created at the University of Valencia that connects water and bioenergy to address environmental challenges.

The Universitat Jaume I and Facsa The distribution of reusable water bottles has begun to encourage students at the UJI (Universitat Jaume I) to drink tap water, coinciding with registration for the university paella festival. This initiative aims to raise awareness, educate students, and improve access to clean water, promoting more responsible water use by reducing the consumption of plastic bottles on campus.
The initiative is part of the campaign Tria l'aixeta, promoted by the Chair Facsa The project is a collaboration between the UJI's Integrated Water Cycle Innovation Unit and the Vice-Rectorate for Infrastructure and Sustainability. Its objective is to promote more responsible water use on campus by encouraging the consumption of tap water, both for the environmental and economic benefits this habit entails.
This campaign at UJI includes, in addition to the distribution of 10.000 reusable bottles, several actions such as information posters, talks, conferences, as well as the installation of water fountains at different points on campus.
