Nealis Infraestructuras boosts its construction and real estate activity with more than 80 active projects

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of FacsaThe company wanted to pay tribute to the city of Castellón, to whose history it has been linked since its founding, with the presentation of a book and an illustrated exhibition that reflect the milestones and successes that have marked the economic and social development of Castellón.
Thus was born the new book 'Castellón: 150 years of history', which highlights the development capacity that the capital of La Plana has experienced in recent times and recalls some of the events that marked its history.
The work was coordinated by the writer Pablo Sebastiá, a law graduate from the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, and included the collaboration of the journalist Ximo Górriz. According to Sebastiá, “this book is an artistic journey through fifty urban locations, and a journalistic journey through one hundred and fifty years of Castellón's history.”
The edition brings together a collection of illustrations by the artist Raquel Alonso, a graduate in Fine Arts and based in Castellón, which reflect some of the symbolic places and buildings of the city, and which has given rise to the exhibition 'Castellón. An artistic journey through our history', which has been inaugurated today and can be visited at Espai Cultural Menador free of charge until January 5.
These are illustrations of emblematic spaces and buildings such as La Farola, Correos, the Teatro Principal, the Mercado, the Instituto Ribalta or La Aguadora, specifically this last image illustrates both the book itself and the exhibition.
Institutional inauguration
The inauguration was attended by the Mayor of Castellón, Begoña Carrasco, who emphasized that “if there is one company committed to the progress of this city, it is Facsa. For 150 years, it has been closely linked to advancements in efficiency, energy savings, and sustainability. Today, we celebrate this trajectory that combines tradition, history, and new technologies with a commitment to continue this public-private partnership. Castellón is a city that is committed to innovation and the efficient use of a resource as valuable as water, and it is in this shared challenge that the City Council and Facsa must continue to move forward together. We are currently working on the project to digitize urban water use, a demonstration that the City Council continues to trust Facsa to implement new mechanisms that will make Castellón a more sustainable capital.”
For his part, Enrique Gimeno, president of the companyHe emphasized that “this book is very important for Facsa as it compiles the most significant events in the city that is our home, the city where we were born. Therefore, I encourage you to immerse yourselves in its pages, full of anecdotes, key moments and prominent figures, and to enjoy this exhibition that we are launching today, with which we want to thank the residents of Castellón, our clients, shareholders and our team who have helped us get to where we are today.”
Also attending the meeting were the president of the Castellón provincial council, Marta Barrachina, the government delegate, Susana Fabregat, and former mayors such as José Luis Gimeno Ferrer and Alfonso Bataller Vicenta.
It is worth noting that the public can download a copy of the work free of charge via a QR code. Furthermore, all company subscribers can request a printed copy in person at the main office. With this initiative, the company aims to share this historic work with all residents of Castellón.
