The DECOB project validates a predictive methodology to anticipate possible incidents in submersible pumping systems

On January 1, 2024, the Castellón-based company Facsa It will become the main sponsor of the Playas de Castellón Athletics Club, the current European champion of track and cross-country athletics, and from that moment on it will be called “FACSA - Playas de Castellón”.
This move coincides with the company's 150th anniversary celebration, Facsa It raises its sporting and social commitment, supporting the most decorated club in the history of the province, which in 2023 has achieved four European championship titles.
One of the decisive factors for the signing of this agreement has been the great support that the Playas de Castellón Athletics Club provides to its grassroots and lower categories, as both entities support the importance of instilling the values of sport from an early age.
Facsa's commitment to this area materialized with the creation of 'Club de Fútbol Fomento Castellón' in 2016, an initiative born with the purpose of contributing to the development of sports in the province and promoting football as a healthy lifestyle for young people. Currently, thanks to Facsa's investment, the Club has grown substantially and its facilities are a national benchmark; in fact, the club started with four registered teams and now has a total of seventeen.
Supporting sports has always been one of the main pillars of Facsa's social policy, which is why, in addition to initiatives such as Club de Fútbol Fomento Castellón, the company has extensive collaboration with other clubs, besides Playas, such as CD Castellón, Vila-real BC and leading events in the province such as Penyagolosa Trails and the 10kFacsa Castelló.
Undoubtedly, Playas de Castellón will carry the name of Facsa throughout Spain and Europe, since the club has 900 athletes, with a presence in all autonomous communities and more than 300 medalists per season in the different national championships.
