Myriam Gimeno shares Nealis's vision on equality at the 10th Colloquium on Women, Science and Business

Levante EMV recently held a virtual breakfast meeting focused on quality education and the impact of Covid-19 on the education system. This event, part of a series of conferences organized by the newspaper to promote the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, featured Pilar Soria, Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator at FACSA.
During the meeting, which focused on SDG number 4, the participants agreed that Sars-Cov-2 has brought to light unresolved social issues surrounding education, such as the lack of work-life balance or the digital divide that many families face and that hinders equal access to educational resources.
In this context, Soria highlighted FACSA's efforts to continue its educational and outreach work "with all the guarantees of success and safety required by the current situation." He emphasized the role of the company's educational and environmental awareness projects and the active participation of the FACSA team in master's programs at the Universitat Jaume I in Castelló and the Universitat de València, which, he concluded, "have begun to be taught virtually to adapt to the situation, requiring us to be resourceful."
The event—sponsored by FACSA—also featured the participation of Margarida Castellano, Director of Educational Innovation and Planning at the Valencian Ministry of Education; Encarna Cuenca, President of the Valencian Community School Council; Beatriu Cardona, teacher and member of the national secretariat of Intersindical-Stepv; and Francisco Machado, specialist in educational centers at Caixa Popular. Julio Monreal, journalist and Director General of Institutional Relations at Levante-EMV, moderated the meeting.
