Nealis Tech adapts the ceramic industry of Castellón to the new water regulations

Facsa The company continues to strengthen its commitment to finding innovative solutions that minimize greenhouse gas emissions and promote more sustainable development in all its processes. Specializing in integrated water cycle management, the company has successfully completed its Proof of Concept (POC) with Dcycle, as part of its Corporate Venturing Program.
This test will allow Facsa Implementing an innovative solution to calculate and minimize its GHG emissions, thus advancing towards its goal of minimizing the environmental impact of its activities. The trial consisted of designing a solution based on Dcycle's environmental management platform, specifically adapted to the activities of the integrated water cycle.
The Facsa team, led by the Acquisition and New Business department and the Continuous Improvement department, along with the Dcycle team, has successfully implemented the solution in a sample of facilities and obtained external validation of the tool. This means that the solution meets the criteria of the main reference standards (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) for calculating GHG emissions.
With the implementation of this innovative technology, the Castellón-based company will be able to streamline and simplify its data collection mechanisms, automate processes, improve the reliability and accuracy of calculations, and make them scalable and replicable across multiple sites. This will allow them to obtain intensity metrics and preferred dashboards for decision-making.
As a result, the reliability and flexibility of carbon footprint calculations will increase, along with the optimization of necessary resources. Through projects like this, Facsa aims to achieve full digitalization and simplify carbon footprint measurement, allowing it to focus its efforts on data analysis and providing the means and resources to advance its mitigation and decarbonization strategies.
With this project, the company reinforces its commitment to seeking innovative strategies and applying the latest technological advances in the management of the integrated water cycle, while supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
