Nealis Infraestructuras boosts its construction and real estate activity with more than 80 active projects

The Castelló City Council today hosted the Facsa Scholarships award ceremony for a total of 28 undergraduate students from the Universitat Jaume I. The scholarships are sponsored by the company. Facsa and the UJI, want to help with the payment of university tuition fees for undergraduate students registered in Castelló de la Plana.
The program has received a total of 144 applications, which have been analyzed taking into account both academic and economic criteria, in order to determine which students would receive the budgeted 22.031 euros.
The event was attended by the mayor of Castelló, Amparo Marco; the rector of the UJI, Eva Alcón; and the president of FacsaEnrique Gimeno, who presented the checks and congratulated each of the scholarship recipients and their families, were also present. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Students and Healthy Living, M. Carmen Pastor; Manuel Breva from FACSA; and Juan Antonio Bertolín, manager of the University's General Foundation.
The president of FACSA, Enrique Gimeno, emphasized that "these scholarships are not only financial aid, but also an opportunity to study at an institution like the UJI." He also stressed that education is the most powerful tool for advancing towards a sustainable and inclusive future, and therefore "we firmly believe in the work of universities, especially the UJI, as well as in the importance of companies getting involved and contributing through scholarships, internships, endowed professorships, or any other initiative to continue fostering talent in our city."
For her part, the Rector of Universitat Jaume I, Eva Alcón, emphasized that this scholarship program has become a firmly established initiative that "contributes to promoting equal opportunities and facilitating university studies for young people in our community." She expressed her gratitude to the Gimeno Group and, more specifically, to the company Facsa, for "their commitment and partnership with Universitat Jaume I, with public education, and with investment in human talent." She also extended her thanks to the General Foundation of Universitat Jaume I for organizing and managing this program and to the Castelló City Council for its support of the initiative.
