Nealis Tech adapts the ceramic industry of Castellón to the new water regulations

These actions, according to the Councilor for Public Services, Vicente Aparisi, "remain a fundamental objective for the town council."
Vicente Aparisi and representatives from Facsa visited the latest water supply and sewage network renovation works being carried out on Nules Avenue. This project, undertaken by Facsa, is part of the ongoing renovation and improvement works for the water supply service infrastructure. Specifically, on this avenue, 600 meters of drinking water supply pipes and 180 meters of sewage pipes will be replaced. However, the overall project includes the replacement of 2.900 meters of drinking water supply pipes and 1.900 meters of sewage pipes.
This year, work has already been completed on Camí Fondo, Calle Tales, and Calle Industria, and work is currently underway on Calle Jardí. Similarly, among other projects, the installation and integration of continuous monitoring of chlorine, turbidity, and nitrates into the remote control system is planned, allowing for real-time monitoring of the water supply quality.
In this regard, the Councillor for Services has highlighted that all these works “will guarantee the supply to the residents of the municipality for the next few years” and has framed it within the 2021 Renewal and Improvement Project which, endowed with an investment amounting to 995.765 euros, includes the works for the renewal and improvement of the drinking water and sewage network for this year.
In this regard, Aparisi indicated that the City Council and Facsa will undertake this year, “the complete renovation of more than 4.800 meters of pipes and conduits and 272 new connections” to the water supply networks of Burriana, with the aim of “improving the quality and guarantee of water supply”, as well as to “promote pedestrian mobility and public road safety, because although the priority is the renewal of the network, the council has considered it appropriate to take advantage of these works to adapt some sidewalks and roads”.
For his part, the director of the supply area of Facsa, Pascual Maximino, highlighted that this action, which adds to other network renewal investments already completed, and the other projects that will be developed in the coming months, represent "significant benefits in the quality of the water service to the residents of Burriana, which will optimize the performance of the network and limit water losses in the supply networks as much as possible, which means favoring the care of the environment."
