AEAS has published the preliminary program and opened registration for its XXXVII Congress, which it will host. Facsa and will take place in Castellón on June 5, 6 and 7, 2024.
The AEAS Standing Committee for Commissions, acting as the Congress Technical Committee, has selected 120 papers for presentation during the Congress, out of a total of 265 proposals received. As a new feature, given the significant increase in both selected papers and proposals received compared to the previous edition, the presentations will be held in four parallel sessions, allowing for greater participation from both speakers and member organizations.
These proposals, encompassed within the different thematic areas that make up the integral water cycle, have been presented by those experts in the sector integrated into the organizations of the collective members, collaborators or protectors of AEAS, as well as individual members, and channeled through the Commissions and Working Groups of the Association.
The result has been a broad program, where special attention will be paid to the necessary governance and sustainability of urban water services.

Likewise, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and the water, energy, and decarbonization nexus will be other key areas to be addressed during this meeting, where more cross-cutting or corporate issues that have a significant impact on the functioning of the organizations and companies that manage urban water services will also be discussed.
As in previous editions, the speaking time will be 15 minutes, so that as many topics as possible can be covered and the debate can be sped up.
The technical program of the Congress will be complemented by the Water Technology Show, where the most representative companies in the sector - public, private or mixed - will showcase their activity and exhibit their latest innovations.
