The AVE Board of Directors will meet for the first time in 2026 in Nealis, at Facsa's new headquarters.

The Castelló City Council and FACSA They have presented the website that the Castelló Municipal Water Service has made available to the public to reinforce knowledge of it, and to facilitate procedures electronically.
The Councillor for Ecological Transition, Fernando Navarro, stated during the press conference that this new tool “is a further step towards citizens better understanding how water management works in the city,” and highlighted the need to move towards “more efficient and sustainable management in a context of climate change.”
In this regard, José Luis Mechó, service technician of FACSA In Castelló, it was explained that the website's main objective is to enhance citizens' understanding of Castelló's water supply and its management. This includes information on the various facilities that make up the supply system, the five management areas, water quality, tariffs, and the technologies used. It was also noted that the website features initiatives promoted by the concessionaire in the city, reflecting its commitment to the community. These initiatives include awareness campaigns and educational visits to facilities.
Furthermore, this portal aims to facilitate in-person and online transactions for subscribers. To this end, it includes contact information and useful links, such as the required documentation for each procedure and a direct link to the appointment booking system, a service the company launched in response to the health crisis and which, given its positive reception, has been maintained.
Additionally, the website includes current news about the service, both technical and general, as well as initiatives promoted by the managing company in the city of Castelló as a result of its commitment to the citizens.
Manuel Breva, FACSA's service manager in the city, highlighted during his presentation that Castelló's water has excellent indicators in both quality and quantity, and that consumption is very stable, fluctuating around 15 cubic hectometers per year. "It should be noted that during 2020, probably as a result of the lockdown, consumption was slightly higher, but in 2021 it returned to normal levels." He also thanked the City Council for its support and trust in the company.
FACSA has managed this service in Castelló since its founding in 1873. The company, which is responsible for both the collection of this resource and its transport, purification, distribution, quality control and management, supplies a population of more than 170.000 people every day, providing them with 15.553.026 cubic meters of water per year.
