Nealis Infraestructuras boosts its construction and real estate activity with more than 80 active projects

The joint venture formed by FACSA and VOPSA has been awarded the contract for the construction and commissioning of the new urban wastewater treatment plant for the Mallorcan municipalities of Calvià and Es Capdellà.
A project awarded by Calvià 2000 - the municipal company of the Calvià Town Council in charge of the sanitation, purification and regeneration network of the area - which will make it possible to treat up to 1500 m3 daily newspapers and also includes the construction of a new emissary that will deliver the waters purified to the natural channel of the Barranc des Pas de Sa Mula (Son Boronat torrent).
The project as a whole – which will incorporate new capacity, accessibility, and sustainability requirements in the design and construction of the new wastewater treatment plant – will address the current deficiencies in the treatment of wastewater from these towns, with a double benefit: achieving the effluent quality required for discharge and obtaining reclaimed water of sufficient quality to meet the demands of agricultural irrigation water.
With this new contract—which has a budget of over two million euros and a 15-month execution period—FACSA demonstrates its strong commitment to consolidating and expanding its presence in the Balearic Islands and reinforces its position in the design and construction of hydraulic infrastructure. The company currently has over five years of experience in the construction of hydraulic infrastructure, such as wastewater treatment plants and other structures for water treatment and conveyance.
Among the most recent references, the construction of the Borriol collector stands out, which has a length of more than 11.000 meters, admits flows of up to one thousand cubic meters per day and has a treatment potential, in terms of pollution, of more than 63.000 equivalent inhabitants.
