HOMEThe company responsible for the Alcúdia Municipal Water Service has successfully completed the renovation and improvement work on the drinking water supply network in several streets of the town's port area. This work is part of the Improvement Plan that the company began in 2020, when 350 meters of piping were replaced on one of the main streets in the area.
The work carried out this year began in February, responding to the projects defined by the Alcúdia City Council which included the beautification, semi-pedestrianization and expansion of the rainwater network at the beginning of the Artà road and Hostalería street and the repair of sidewalks and paving of streets in Cas Vicari.
For that, HOME The company assessed the condition of the water supply network within the project area and, after identifying the most critical sections, coordinated with the City Council to ensure that both the urban redevelopment work planned by the council and the hydraulic infrastructure renewal by ACASA could be carried out in a single pavement demolition. This allowed the company to minimize its impact on the City Council's work.
The renovation of the network - budgeted at €60.000 - has concluded with 600 meters of pipe renewed in the streets of Artà, Hostaleria, Torrent, Illes Balears, Metge Reynés, 24 de Febrer, Tenerife, Ciutadella, Tabarca and Sant Pere.
