Foz promotes a strategic modernization of its urban water cycle with a new management contract

As every winter, vans, caravans and trucks from the most important Motocross teams arrive in the province of Castellón to enjoy the RedSand MX Park circuit, considered the European Mecca for training in this sport and positioned as one of the five best destinations in the world.
RedSand MX Park hosted the Motocross World Championship in 2018 and has continued to grow ever since. It is undoubtedly a successful initiative that has positioned the province of Castellón as a unique sports destination, thus helping to reduce the seasonality of tourism in the province, a vital aspect for the Castellón tourism sector.
In this regard, it is important to remember that, although the circuit is located in the municipality of Villafamés, the riders - among whom are Jeffrey Herlings, MXGP World Champion, Jorge Prado, best Spanish rider, and Tom Vialle, MX2 World Champion - spread their stays throughout the province, with Benicàssim being a highly sought-after location, as these professionals find a perfect place to rest and disconnect near the sea after their daily training in the interior of our province.
And to ensure that the season is once again a complete success, from Intursports Travel Services We work closely with the circuit's reservations department, managing the accommodation of the teams and academies that come to the circuit and attending to their needs.
From November 26th to March 5th, over 6.500 drivers trained at the circuit in 2021, and this number is expected to grow to 8.000 professionals this season. This will generate more than 25.000 overnight stays during the three winter months the circuit is open. Teams from over 47 countries will be staying in hotels, apartments, villas, and campsites throughout the province for stays of 7-14 days.
