The Intur Hotels in Benicàssim, Aquarama and Orange Costa renew their SICTED recognition of tourist quality

The Benicàssim City Council, through its Department of Tourism, has once again awarded the Sicted (Spanish Integrated System of Tourist Quality in Destinations) tourism quality distinctions to the Intur Orange hotelsIntur Azor and Intur Bonaire, as well as Aquarama and Orange Costa Benicàssim, received these awards. These seals recognize not only the tourism quality of these companies, but also "the commitment, value, effort, and dedication to their daily work," as stated by Susana Marqués, Mayor of Benicàssim, during the award ceremony, which was also attended by the Regional Secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer.

In this regard, our colleague Susana Ribes, from the Quality Department at Intur, stated that “as pioneers in Benicàssim, we maintain our commitment to quality and excellence in tourism at the Intur Group companies located in Benicàssim.” Furthermore, “the Intur Group would like to congratulate the other companies that have received this seal for their effort and commitment to offering local tourists an added level of quality in their holiday experience.”

On the other hand, the Councillor for Tourism, Cristina Fernández, highlighted that these awards - promoted by the State Secretariat for Tourism (SET), with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) - demonstrate that "our tourism sector continues to be very much alive and active and with the objective of achieving a homogeneous level of quality in the services offered to tourists."

It is worth noting that the SICTED seal aims for a consistent level of quality in the services offered to tourists within a given destination. To achieve this, it utilizes best practice manuals tailored to each business model, along with training, assessments, and technical assistance. This collaborative work between businesses and the official SETUR agency ensures that establishments and/or services meet the required quality standards, and compliance allows them to receive the Tourism Quality Commitment seal.
