Intursports It has collaborated with the Turesport congress, which has recently held its second edition at the Estadio de la Cerámica, with the aim of uniting synergies between tourism and sport in the province of Castellón.
During the event, several roundtables were held in which experts in sports and active tourism discussed current issues in the sector, its opportunities, and presented success stories. Jorge Moreno, Marketing Director of Intur Group, participated in the round table entitled 'The art of communicating' together with Raúl Puchol, announcer on COPE and Cadena 100 Castellón, Mónica Benavent, sports journalist, and Herán Sanz, Communications Director of Villarreal CF.
During his speech, Moreno highlighted that the data on tourist arrivals to Spain already exceeds the best pre-pandemic years "it is excellent data and a huge challenge, we must broaden our audiences, get to know them well and offer them a before, during and after their experience at the highest level."
Furthermore, the Marketing Director of Grupo Intur has announced that thanks to the expertise of Intursports - with 30 years of experience - "we are going to launch hypoxia rooms in our Bonaire hotel, offering elite cyclists unique facilities that, together with the unbeatable destination that is Benicàssim, make us even more competitive."
The last panel, focused on the public-private relationship, included the participation of the president of GEP and AEGG, Alberto Talabera, the former mayor of Ibiza, Rafa Ruiz, the former councilor for Sports of Vila-real, Javier Serralvo, and the deputy for Sports, Iván Sánchez.
The president of Turesport, Pedro Nebot, has stated that the province of Castellón has great potential for sports tourism. On the one hand, it has businesses and events, and on the other hand, it boasts an ideal climate and topography with both mountains and beaches.
