The Intur hotel chain will arrive in the Balearic Islands next summer, taking over the management of the Hotel Rosella in Mallorca. This 4-star establishment is located near Cala Millor Beach, in northeast Mallorca, between the towns of Son Servera and San Lorenzo del Cardezar.
This will be the Castellón-based chain's first foray into the Balearic Islands, and, as Iker Llano, CEO of Hoteles Intur, has indicated, the company is not ruling out further expansion in the holiday sector: “We are exploring new opportunities in the hotel market with the aim of continuing to strengthen our current leisure offerings.” Furthermore, to fill vacancies for the opening of the Hotel Rosella, which will operate under its original name this season, the company has launched a recruitment campaign to complete its staff.
Hoteles Intur has continued its expansion throughout Spain in recent years. In fact, the company, which led the prestigious Hosteltur ranking of chains with fewer than 1.000 rooms, made the leap this year to join the list of companies with over 1,000 rooms, becoming the highest-ranking Valencian chain. Among its recent additions are the opening of its second hotel in San Sebastián, Villa Katalina, and Core Suites Valencia, which join its other establishments in cities such as Madrid, Seville, Ciudad Real, Benicàssim, and Castelló.
Now, with this new 118-room hotel, scheduled to open next May, the company adds a new property to its portfolio, perfect for relaxing and enjoying time with family or friends in one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. "We are absolutely delighted to be arriving in Mallorca, a destination with idyllic beaches, gastronomy, wellness, and entertainment options to suit all tastes and ages," Llano emphasized.
